I am garaging this over the winter. I took it out and put it on ramps to take a few photos.

If I can't sell this in the Eastern U.S. by April/May-ish, I'm taking it to New Mexico to sell out West. I'm happy to drive it to meet a seller somewhere in-between, but that's all weather-dependent. I really don't want to expose this to road salt.

I've put new parts and lots of work into it

It just passed NYS inspection

I've cleaned it extensively

A prior owner had a HAM radio or somesuch installed on the roof. I've removed that and all associated wiring and hardware. I've sealed the roof where the holes were, and I plan on addressing them fully in the spring. They do not leak

I had to remove the running boards, as they were falling apart. The mounts were still in excellent shape, so I media-blasted, painted, and sold those. I do still have the plastic running board steps

I've done the following within the past six months:
Oil/filter Dec 2025
Toyota OEM large battery Dec 2025
Air filter replaced with OEM, filter box/tuna can cleaned out, MAF cleaned
PCV and grommet replaced

Window channels replaced
Interior window mouldings replaced with OEM
Exterior window mouldings replaced with OEM
Four door-weatherstripping replaced with OEM
Rear vent louvers - back side windows OEM installed (A prior owner had stuffed insulation behind the old louvers)
Cleaned the trim/paint and sealed the four holes under the trim piece (on either side) under the rear sliding windows
Cleaned the sliding window channels extensively

Wiper blades f/r
Hatch struts/hood struts
Windshield sprayer nozzles
Washer tubing
OEM rims purchased, media-blasted, and powder-coated
Spare tire replaced on original OEM rim
Gas cap replaced
Wheel center caps (new) and old school stickers
Lug nuts - new
Mounted a stock bumper
Antenna mast replaced and working
Hood mat and clips replaced
Under hood Catalyst sticker
Owner's Manual case
Steering column cover replaced
Installed sound deadening material in all four doors and cargo area
Right front door triangle trim replaced
Repaired visors
Installed front OEM splash guards (for rigs with flares but no running boards)

Have but not yet installed:
Bilstein shocks for 2-2.5" lift
JVC Carplay radio
Control arm bushings (four)
Oxygen sensors and gaskets two - new
ARB Differential breather

In the process of completing after Christmas 2025:
Sway bar bushings f/r new
Sway bar links f/r new
Sway bar link bushings f/r new
Cleaned/painted f/r sway bars
Reinstalling cleaned cargo carpet

The interior is in very nice shape, and the seats have no rips or tears

The prior owner replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and installed a JVC BT radio with backup camera

Regardless of the opinions about it, the entire underside and frame have been needled to remove rust and coated with fresh Woolwax undercoating that is still curing; therefore, I'm holding off a few days to complete the sway bar mounting.

I jumped the pins in the OBD and found that the oxygen sensors are the likely cause of the CEL. They will likely need new mounting brackets welded on

The A/C does not blow cold, and I have not diagnosed that yet

The dash has cracks in the vinyl

The PS pump is a bit noisy, and I plan to flush the fluid and replace with new ATF (included if I don't get to it)

The rear passenger door cards/panels suffered from moisture but still attach just fine

A prior owner installed speakers in the doors and cargo area and did some creative remodeling

It runs and drives great

I'll get some videos into a YouTube channel if I have time, and I'll see if I can post more photos or include a DropBox or something

I'm rally bad at navigating the forums, so please have some patience with me and my response times/methods

I'm selling this as-is. I will make the rig fully available for inspection at a mutually agreeable mechanic's shop

Make me a reasonable offer. I'm not looking to make any money on this, and you may be surprised what I'll accept

Gotta post a price. Mud isn't an auction site.

I would put a price on it before the low ball offers start come in 😵‍💫

And no a price is not required😉

Hello! It thrills me actually that you brought this up!

I appreciate the sentiment, and detecting tone in writing sometimes proves difficult. I'll give you the opportunity to explain your message and intent a bit more and go into further detail if you feel so inclined AFTER reading the below.

Before relying on an auction site, I'm giving a chance to people who might not have as much money as others to buy a solid 80 series. I'll sell it to the first person who contacts me who isn't just testing my limits. I was once unable to buy the things that I wanted so dearly, so this presents a chance for the proverbial underdog.

I've read many forum posts here, and while I'm not great with navigating the forums, I have seen many folks tell others not to be so sensitive, etc, which is classic bullying behavior when people call out rude people or bullies. So, without calling you rude or a bully, I would like to provide an open space for you to explain the intent of your message AFTER you've had a chance to understand my method here.

If this community must insist on a price, then it's $150K OBO with all offers considered. Happy?

It seems that I can't edit the original text, so additional info follows:

The rig has had a respray that left a lot of orange peel. The shop that completed the undercoating tested a spot by compounding and buffing, and it turned out pretty great. The shop tested paint thickness all around and would feel comfy with completing the same work on all panels except for the roof and hood. The roof has peeled, and the hood has something that the shop called fish-eyes. It's go decent paint depth but not enough to complete the same work. I intend to repair the holes/dents on the roof and to paint the top white. I may consider a flat-black wrap on the hood so as not to make permanent changes to that paint

I plan on repainting and straightening out the front bumper and repainting the rear bumper

This includes an OEM rim that has the same media blasting and powder-coat

I am fashioning a spare tire/wheel cover to keep it clean and to avoid any undercoating transfer while allowing drainage

I 100% will post pics to a DropBox and videos to the YouTube channel
