Looks good man. Are we bending up a stinger soon?

Want to help me pull my engine on Sat?

IanB-

I have a hoist if you need it, but I am leaving town on Wednesday and wont be back until Sunday, you are welcome to it if you want it. I have one of those leveler things too. Let me know.

Nutley-

Seriously bro, your skull has some crazy buck teeth :)

Cage looks great man, I can't wait to see you try it out... from my girly position on the sideline of course.

Radiator hoop soon i hope. How long do you think it will take to yank that engine. I'll come over and give you a hand, but just to warn you I really need to get this cage tied up this weekend cause i'm prolly going to moab in a week or 2, can't remeber the date. I don't have too much to do but it will take some time, hopfully I can yank it out at home this week and get all the holes punched and get some paint on it, then go get the ties ins together.

So I finally have this thing almost complete. All I have left for this stage is to put in my dash bar and my little handles, pull it out and get a good coat of paint on it.

Further down the road i'm going to get some new buckets and tie them into the cage. gonna bend a-b spreaders and tie into those.

Before that i'm planing on bending a front radiator hoop and maybe some fenders.

:)

Ian sorry I didn't make it over last weekend, I'm having a hard time just fitting in meals currently

looks great man i've been following this for awhile, i like the tie ins and the stance on your truck in realllllly nicce with the 102 wheel base...

Or does it look like the MetalTech stuff? ;)

the front "A" hoop or whatever you wanna call it looks like the metaltech one, but the rest doesn't.. maybe i havent looked at the MT stuff enough?

either way, i dig it.. looks pretty sweet :grinpimp:

looks good zak!

busta's a-pillars are metal tech. the rest was bent at ianb's house, not sure the brand of bender, put i know it wasnt cheap

i'll post my front end gaurd soon, once i cut the angle at the bottom, it came out pretty nice.

thanx to ian for letting us use his bender.
kinda fun to mess up a tube, then end up using it ;)

yeah I bent everything at ian b's place, except the a-pillars on my cage, those were a gift that sat around for close to a year before I finally got them into use. I over bent my nose guard just a bit, but relaxing bends isn't hard, you can see the high lift laying on the ground ;)

metal-tech stuff is nice, a good friend of mine has just about every piece in production. MT will do custom stuff, you just have to let him know. I like doing everything myself, pride I guess  oh, and it is a lot cheaper :)

Oh and I don't remeber what the bender is, maybe ian will jump in here.

It looks a lot like this one

I'm going to start on my t-case x-member tonight (treeroot style), my motor mounts are all jacked from age and weight of 420. Once I get the engine in the right place I can start on more "cage work", well tube work. :) skid plate

Dude,is the camera not centered,or is the cage not centered on the down tubes?

down tubes mean nothing to me  please elaborate

a, b, or c pillar?

maybe tie ins?
be more specific, but I'm guessing no because I took great care in making it straight.

b-pillar slopes back 7 deg

a- pillar is parallel to windshield frame and the door jam on the tub.

c-pillar bars slop to the inside of the rig just slightly at the rear of the truck to accommodate the node that I wanted to tie directly to the frame.

everything is square to a quarter inch or so. My tub is pretty bent. i'm guessing it is just perception? You know same thing as fish eye lens only not as glorified, but everything shares that effect. Or maybe you are looking at my v-brace and the seats? Drivers seat is all the way back to accommodate my huge 5-8 stature. difference between seats is like 6"
