New ignition (also got new lock cylinders in the doors, so my key matches all the locks now)

Sent the truck to 49 Tire to have @offr0adlim0 work his magic, fine tuning the engine, making sure everything was mechanically sound.

He found a few valves out of adjustment, fixed a vacuum leak around the exhaust manifold, and adjusted the timing and carb. It’s good to go now.

Now, I wait to get the truck cut/buffed at the bodyshop. Could be a few months out.

Thanks for the biz.

With @ntsaint closing in on wrapping up his 40, made me wonder where the other concourse build was these days.

I’ve been driving it around town, and enjoying it.

Will hopefully get the paintwork finished up this winter, then it’ll be time to sell it.

A pic taken a few weeks ago at my buddy’s place who is correcting the paint.

I ended up replacing several of the rebuilt parts I previously installed, including:

Clutch slave cylinder
Clutch master cylinder
Brake master cylinder
Clutch fan

Figured that it was stupid to spend so much effort making the truck perfect, only to use the above rebuilt assemblies.

Here’s what $100 in decals looks like.

I was not happy with the finish of my valve cover, so I blasted it, repainted, and used a very very high-quality clearcoat, after applying new decals from Cruiser Corps.
