Or wait to order u have a lot to do before suspension goes back on

CCOT hell for stout.

Somebody want to run this through the translator for me? I'm guessing it means get the CCOT lift?

yeah, i do have lots to do before that. Problem is i need the lift at the shop ready to install by mid May, cause i have to get the suspension back on and have the truck rolling by end of May, when i have to vacate the shop for my new tenant...still trying to scare that dude off, but not successful yet.

Gotcha, thanks.

All my reading says OME...and that was your first recco, so that's the way I'm gonna head.

yes/no on the steering stabilizer? Will it work with the mini-truck power steering?

Just got emails back from MAF and MetalTech, OME shocks come in next week, U-bolts and shackle bushings by 5/11. Which should put the kit at my door 3rd week of may. leaves me two days to fit the suspension and the engine then move it to my garage...i guess it can be done?

I predict you will be moving it in pieces...

While I'm at it, might as well start looking for something i know I'm gonna need:

Anybody know where i can buy a transmission hump cover? Mine is fairly rusted. All i can find out there are fiberglass ones, and I don't want one of those...

Also going to post this in the 40 classified section. I already have a WTB in the main MUD classifieds.

Ok, realtime help. Only one spot is keeping me from pulling the engine.

Front driveshaft will not unbolt.

Rear came off easy, 1st pic.

Cannot get the front driveshaft loose in either of the below locations. Any suggestions? PB blaster and heat, no good.

Any way to separate at the knuckle?

Hit it hard with a mallet. It'll pop off eventually. Probably just seized up, as the yokes are a very tight fit to each other.

You're on the right track with the pry bar method.

Just to be clear, you'll want to make sure you get the bolts out before you whack it. And maybe put something under the drive shaft so it doesn't fall to earth at orbit speed.

Thx for the quick replies. Finally got it. BFH and crowbar involved.

Next question...I must be a moron but I can't get the steering stabilizer loose from the frame...
