Dropped the oil pan, going to RC Engineering tomorrow to get the injector balance, clean and blueprinted also will replace the connecting rod, piston rings.. anything possible I can think of...

Should I ... Today 05/09/07 I'll remove all the pistons, rods.It's time to drive new '08 1FZ

2 or 3 yrs from now I'll convert an automatic trans (FE) to a 5 speed manual.Does anybody know how much the manual trans cost? gotta figure out the computer box (ECU), engine harness.

Don't forget to clean the area in the attached picture. Sediments from the coolant ends up settling at the bottom and it's hard to clean out with coolant flushes. Since you have the access now, you can do this easily!

Thanks to both of you Alia176 and CDan , Well I didn't get to do much today just cleaned the throttle body, removed some of the pistons and rod bearing.

Some of the my piston and the bearing number D6L A 4, all of the piston rings are still good condition but Im going to replace all of them new.

One question. Why didn't you yank the motor to do all this? It is so much easier on a stand man.

I was going to do that pull the whole motor out but since nobody here showing good pic of the headgasket. I have to show and do it hard way for you guys

That's mighty nice of you. It's a bad thing to do the back though.

I have to show you guys the easy way to do the FE engine, trans, and transfer at the same time. In she goes starts Saturday after oil bath clean up.
