Met this guy at the shop, very interesting fella.
Nothing to lose. Anyone got a galvanized boat trailer? 16-18’ - 65” between the fenders.

It went surprisingly well. Must've still been dry underneath somewhere. Couple boxes of wood chips soaked in oil didn't hurt.
