Really happy with how it turned out so far, just took a long time with all the other things going on in life.
You can fold down all 3 sides for loading or remove them altogether if a guy needs to run it as a flat bed.
Simple, strong and practical.

I took the truck for a good run, ol 1HZ is has not even hit 15,000 klms yet so she's a few hundred thousand shy of getting run in. Purs like a bag full of cats.
Now its time to start running it as my daily and most things from here are just fun extras and day to day things.
I have a 20mm and tall 50mm ammo can coming to see which I like better for a center console build.

My wife still thinks the dome top sticks out like a 3rd nut on a greyhound.... but I like it.

Looks awesome... congratulations!

Got a few things done,
Elbow saver for my freedom seed console.
I used 5/8” ply, 3 layers of cheap yoga Matt and stapled down a cover from some old material I found at Salvation Army.
Perfect height for driving.
Also fitted a blue sea 1045 usb charger, and a ram phone holder to the dash.
Against better judgement I tried to pry the dart lighter housing out and it immediately snapped a corner off Fuc!

Here is the big PTO driven pump living under the back seat

Hello African, your thread is really helping me out with de-firetrucking my 60. I'm at the point where everything is removed except for the pump. I've got part of the mount s cut away and all of the plumbing separated.

Is there anything to know about taking off the PTO?

I left the PTO attached to the transfer case disengaged and drive shaft to the pump removed in case i even want to use it.
You can pull it off completely and get a cover plate if you want it gone completely. You'l have to just reference part numbers for the specific transfer case you have on that 60 and find the part for it. Check with Cruiser outfitters, they likely have it.

Truck got it’s first long run on a road trip to Oklahoma for some spring turkey hunting.
Ran like a top!
I just need to find a good shop in Colorado to redo the wheel alignment any suggestions ?

Ah, I phrased that wrong. My question was about removing the pump from the truck's PTO.

Plan to leave the PTO in the transfer case.

Does the pump slide right off or are there some kind of retaining rings that I need to worry about? Thanks so much for your advice.

Tru Automotive in Denver did the alignment on the KZJ78 and I am pleased with the work. They seem to only work on lifted 4x4 Toyotas and Lexus. If they haven't been done recently I would plan on doing all the tie-rod ends at the same time because they might get adjusted while the alignment is done and they can become seized over time.

Ahh no probs. Assuming its like mine. It should all bolt off. Unbolt all the pipe and flanges to the pump and anything else attached. Removed the drive shaft between the pto and pump. Be careful because just the pump body alone if F..ing heavy! Post a photo so we can see what your working with.

Serendipity!

I lived up there for a lot of years, in a house way, way up Ohio Creek road. Your pictures look just like the Ohio valley. Any chance you are on CR 730?
Iv spent a lot of time up Ohio creek, Folks used to have a cabin just between wilderness streams and swampy pass.
