Brand new out of the box, you have awesome winch! Based on the information you’ve given me, I’d say this was built on May 14th, 1981. The sockets were metal in the 70’s to early 80’s. This would definitely be worth a lot to the right person. People love these winches!

Nice find.... I found one of those 8274 anniversary editions where they made 1000 numbered in a box a few years ago. It's still in the box but it's like gold for me......
