Family friendly for sure. Sunday at 930AM at the Shell station in Dahlonega or I think 1030-11 at the trail itself. Since you're coming from Marietta, you are welcome to meet and caravan with me (I'm in Kennesaw) to Dahlonega where I'm meeting everyone else.

I haven't run Beasley yet, but know it's a little more advanced than some of the other fire/mountain roads most people begin on. I would personally suggest removing your running boards as they're likely to get crunched.

If we're running Flatland Rd (alternative to Beasley in case of rain) I wouldn't want to run it without at least sliders. I've racked mine a few times on this trail.

What is that white stuff you parked the 100 in?

Yes! Will keep in touch!!!

Chiming in on Beasley... Fun trail but IIRC its a mud fest and heavily rutted. Its been around 15yrs since I've been on it though.

Any of yall run the trails around Rich Mountain? I remember them being fun as well. Cant remember exactly where we hopped on though.

nice truck! no bypasses, no chicken tracks, on a scale of mild to wild, beasley is closer to wild, its not moab, but its way more than a fire road.. we'ed love you have you along if youre up to try it ')

its fairly rough these days. ill have to check out rich mtn..

Will anyone be running a CB? If so, I’ll hook mine up.

I have a walkie talkie and HAM, all my pals only have WT...

I'll bring 2 additional radios (FRS) that I can lend to anyone who would like one.

I'll have my recovery gear (shackles, snatch strap, tree saver, snatch block, shovel, winch, etc). Ideally we won't use them.

I would like to not hurt the new off road Toyota I bought the first time in the woods

As long as you have AT tires you will be fine. I followed a guy run Black Bear at HIH8 in a stock Hundy and he did just fine. Maybe a couple rock rash marks on the bumpers but you will be wanting to replace those anyways.

This place (Ih8mud) finally got me to pull the trigger on a 4WD. Picking up a stock ‘00 470 tomorrow morning. Hope to join on a ride soon! I’m south of ATL.

Ouch. I love Rock Warriors but knew I would jack them up so I put on some Tundra steelies. They take a beating and then I just put another coat of plasti-dip on them and they look good as new. Plus, they are super cheap.
