Yeah, I'm just yanking your chain a bit. But it does have some super steep hills. I dug up a couple old photos.

Rangers lock the gates at first hint of rain. It becomes a slip n slide real quick.

Ive been there in the soupy mess once, and ive tried to go there twice and its been closed. so who knows.. i guess if it is closed flatland could be our back up spot...

also where do we want to meet? i have a spot on 400, exit 13, where i normally meet my guys but that may be out of the way for some of you.. any ideas?

I like this route, but got no play in this game since I can't run this weekend.

Nimblewill Church is good meeting spot.
North on FS 28-1, stay to left to join...
Winding Stair Gap Rd (FS77) which becomes Hightower Gap Rd near the Hawk Mtn spur.
Then right onto Appalachian Blue Ridge Rd
Continue on Cooper Gap Rd for several miles until it spits you out onto Hwy 60 just south of Wolf Pen Gap convenience store.
Then you're just around the corner from Flatland Rd.

Are we on for a Sunday ride ?

If its close to you.. Ariana funiture, exit 13, 400, across the street from waffle house 9AM.

Then we ride up to Dahlonega, the shell station where 19 splits with 60 and 115. 930AM

Sound good?

If you live too far out of the way for any of that, be at Beasley Knob at 1030-11am. If its closed were going to flatland rd.

Why not cross post this over in the dusty area of the Ga. clubhouse ?

You talking about this one?

I'd have nothing against it. After it was asked why most of us don't attend the meetings, I got the feeling maybe that continuing to post about these unaffiliated events in their forum may have been stepping on toes a little bit.

I attended one of the meetings. They need the traffic. There were maybe 10 people at the random meeting I attended. At this point I don't think they have many toes to step on.

Nice guys but needs a local recruiting effort. I see a lot of Land Cruisers locally and almost no meeting attendance nor does anyone know it exist. They need some marketing

Ive got to do a front axle rebuild and front calipers.. ive also been thinking hard on a turbo LS but that probably wont happen anytime soon. Just drive the damn thing ryan!

Dibs on your motor Ryan

I'm still highly likely to meet at Beasley.

There are so many built Cruisers in Atlanta it really blows my mind. Just in my general neighborhood there are a half dozen. There's not much of a chance I'll make to a Ga Cruisers meeting just based on when and where they have them but I'm certainly down to be involved in planning some sort of rendezvous. I don't think we properly conveyed how great of a time we had at Coppingers. That was one for the books.
