Are any of you guys going to try to ride this weekend ?

You guys ever do the GA traverse? Reason I ask is I hear it can mostly be done in a 2wd and that’s all i got for now. Dying to dip our toes in this world but don’t know where or even if we should start with a 2wd.

I did 72 miles of georiga traverse in 1 day. Its a pretty boring dirt road, but there are some great camping spots and beautiful views. 2wd for sure.. start in dalton ga and head north/east take up into tenn around the loop.

@Whiskerz im not off road this weekend

Water crossings ? Waterfalls ?

I’ve been watching this thread and hoping to join you guys, I’ve just been too busy. I still haven’t cleaned my truck from GSMTR. For those of you that haven’t been to Windrock I highly recommend it. I went to HIH8 last year and Windrock’s trails are way more gnarly, great camping too. A trip up there when the weather cools off would be awesome.

I’m in for a Sunday ride. What about you @ga12r1?

I am planning to run Prentice Cooper outside of Chattanooga on Saturday. Not confirmed yet, though. I'm going with a buddy and some other group of trucks he knows.

Beasley Knob next Sunday though, right?!

Wermz, you the man. Thanks a bunch. Probably try that out in the next few weekends. We got two young kids so every nice swimming hole/creek we cross will be a great opportunity to take a swim and wear out the kiddos. It sounds perfect.

Most definitely. I’m going to be pretty busy until after HIH, but starting in August my weekends should start freeing up.

I want to try out the new FJ on something more than a dirt road. I also am hoping one of these matches times with my son being off work.

Beasley knob is happening! Rain or shine
Rangers lock the gates at first hint of rain. It becomes a slip n slide real quick.

Be sure to rotate your phone to landscape mode as you are filming...I want to see it in full HD.
