While i love Land Cruisers, I thought i would post my Dodge 3500 Mega Cab Cummins build.
I bought this new in '07 for my work truck, and then decided last spring that we needed a more off road capable rig to camp in as we sold our 5th wheel because we could not take it where we like to camp. So....here are the specs.

6.7 Cummins T/D. H&S mini max with EGR block off plate, DPF delete, pyrometer, straight piped.
Carli custom suspension with new leafs, coils, towers, King remote res shocks, long travel air bags, sway bar, etc.. Toyo 37 x 13.5 x 17 tires.
Aluminess front and rear bumpers with dual swingouts w/storage boxes.
AT flip pac with fiamma 35 awnings. AT custom in bed storage with 17 gallon water tank, hot water exchanger, 3rd battery with IBS monitor, heat source forced air heater, National Luna weekender split 50 w/ slide, and a ton of storage w/drawers. LED lighting w/12 volt acc. plugs (6)

Just thought i would share.

Sleeping area abive the cab, fridge, etc...
After having and using a RTT and loving it, this is kind of the same thing except you can live in and around the camper, instead of just around it if that makes sense. The part over the bed is almost 7ft high so plenty of room to move around.
Other parts of the kit are PETT, Cabelas kitchen, Paha'que shower enclosure, Camp Chef stove/oven combo, and Kermit camp chairs among other things.
I chose to build this rig as it gets good mpg, tons of room in the cab, AND i can haul my rig to events and enjoy my Cruiser !

Thats it.

It's called Debo step. It took about 5 minutes to install, and pulls out and retracts easily. Very happy with it.

Yes, but like you I am not camping at Slickrock. Maybe I'll see you at Goose Island if they are not full.

Thanks, it works really well.

I have room if you need a spot. Just let me know this week so I can add you to the list.

I thought you were tent camping ?

I am tent camping at the group spot. But there will probably be room for you to park there with the dodge. Unless you have a trailer and the 40. Then probably not.

But if you want me to find an empty site at goose island on Wednesday I could do that too.

Off track on the thread. Pm or call me :)

That's awesome build .. no winch .. ( I mean will be nice to have it in emergency situations ) and can't read your freezer brand ?

Nice Taco ! How do you have the bed set up ? I watched Taco Doc build his on Expedition Portal and his came out sweet.

his did come out sweet, as did yours, i really like the use of your open shelfs instead of all sealed up with a lid.

part of the flips appeal to me that its an empty shell. i still want to have an empty truck bed when needed so my deal is modular. i can add and subract as needed. besides i am building a new bed with side boxes and some other neat tricks so i dont want to spend too much time mounting things that are going to get re-done pretty soon.

That rig is beautiful. I've lusted over the 2500 MegaCabs for a while now. Just curious, what type of MPG are you averaging with this setup?
