Newbie Looking For "Driver" FJ40

Most Toyota engines are bulletproof ...........see attached exhibit A.....bad things happen when the previous owner(s) neglect engines and fail to perform at least minimal maintenance on an engine................thoroughly inspect any potential purchase with a fine tooth comb.

let me guess, little or no oil. threw a conrod straight through the bottom of the block...

There was plenty of oil (that's what fed the flames that were billowing out from under the hood )...........it was the lack of oil and maintenance for 43 years prior to this incident that blasted a rod through the block . F #2 is fairing much better now that all is fresh and maintained.
