New Years Ride Jan. 2-4

Rebuilt rig should be back together in time but it just occurred to me that I will need to trailer close to the trail head and then run back to Jasper to drop off the tow rig at Andy's shop. I've made some pretty drastic changes and don't want the first real test run to be 5 miles of pavement especially if I don't have the tail lights on yet.

So, might still be lookin to go up on the 1st but will need a ride from Jasper to drop off point, anyone gonna have an open seat on either the 1st or 2nd?
 
Ted you could probably leave your truck and trailer at the Trials Training Center. from there you would only have a quarter mile of pavement
 
Thanks guys. Andy--It'll be safe nuff I'm guessing, you wouldn't recommend otherwise I'm sure. That'll be Plan A and catching a ride is now Plan B.

We have 17 trucks going and 6 maybe
 
Tryin' to make the most of it so till shootin' for Jan 1 departure, wife doesn't know yet but usually not an issue. From what I recall it gets dark back in da woods around 4:30 CST which is just damned crazy so I'm thinkin' 10ish CST being on the trail and actually moving. Should give us nuff time to find camp wherever that's gonna be?

Roger-- if'n ya know where camp is gonna be and if'n you're willin' to share can ya' let me know so we can throw down a single time. That'd be really swell--thx.

So far it's me, John S, Nick and Hunter (I think) for Jan 1st, might also get Ben G. and Hendog in on it too, missing anyone? Where's Rocky and Chevota been hiding?

We are planing on camping where we camped 2 years ago. We went buy there on Nov. Ride. Should be enough room for the group. It is on a large dry wash for those that want to play, its where they shot the photos for the Peterson article.
Is Hendog coming? Can I move john S and Nick from maybe list to coming?

hmm, wasn't part of any of those rides so still clueless. Last time we were in the cove together was NY 2011(?) when we were nearly flooded out, youre not talking bout that camp location are you. If so I know exactly where that is.

Not a pressing issue but if you happen to have coordinates and wanna PM them to me that'd work for great, kinda hate broadcasting that sort of info on the ole interwebs.

John and Nick are pretty much definite as long as the weather is reasonable. Last I heard Hendog was in but ya never really know for sure until you see the whites of his eyes. I know he's been elbow deep in his son's 2nd gen 22R pulling out metal shavings.

Just becous ei am kind of cluless till. Is this near the town of Sequatchie TN? I am just trying to figure out driving distance. That will be the big issue as ti if i can show up. Thanks guys.
