Alright people it’s that time of year again. New Years day run time! It'll be time once again to shake off the hangover (or start a new one). Grab a pair, hike up the skirt, get on it, and suck it up buttercup.... let's "GET ER DONE"!

A tradition established long ago by our forefathers, The Crusties, and the Stumpies, passed on through generations. Once again it is our turn to carry the tradition on into 2011. Hungover or not bright and early, wide eyed and bushy tailed!

Lets get a list going as to where we are going and who's bringing what.

I made it last year but without a truck. This year is a different story. I'm in, 4 wheels and all. Ill also do the shopping again but I need to get an idea as to how many participants we are going to have so I can get Burgers and Dogs.

So post who's comming (passengers inc.) and if there are any Vegi-people (non carnivors)

This is an official club run and all the "eats" are supplied by the club! All guests are welcome. Anyone can bring their rig (member or not) but all trucks attending must be Cruisers!:beer:

Cam

Count me in!

Got to try out my "new" 3B just freshly installed thanks to Rob and John at RADD:beer:

I'm not even sure yet which town I'll be in yet for new years, I've heard vic, chemainus, nanaimo and campbell river....

needless to say, if it ain't vic, I probably won't be there, cuz I'm gonna take a wild guess that this trip will be in sooke...:flipoff2:

still, if I end up in vic for new years, I'll probably be drunk as f* at dano's .... so it'll be up to him....:bang:

I'll be there, and I'll try to drag my wife along again :) My vote would be for Shawnigan or the Malahat rather than Sooke... just for a change. I guess it depends how deep the snow is too. There are some quite fantastic trails on the Malahat which Ken and I discovered last year...

At the last meeting a few of us discussed heading in a Skutz Falls again. Malahat sounds good too. Any other destination ideas?

where on the malahat? I don't think there is any trails between goldstream and shawnigan lake that I would take a group of trucks on as its all private land that is not logging co land.

I may head out one day next week and check on the shawnigan gate to make sure its open. I have not been in there in quite a while anyways.

I'm just getting back from work and am needing to get out for a wheel, so i'll make it out.
Cheers!

Excellent dude! See you then!

Snow Run

How about a snow run -- Mt Benton usually has lots of it off Copper Canyon Main.

oh ya hamburger hill

hhhhmmmm maybe day plates on the 40 are in order oh damn now im thinking about wheeling it before its done...maybe just once though right?

I like the idea of a snow run.
-Guy, go for the day permit!! I think Ken and Chris are going to rock the day permit as well.

Any more thoughts on a destination??

Cokely,... Where are you? Got any thoughts on all this?

I'm cool with a snow run! Give my tires a good workout and see what they can do in the snow. So what do we need to bring Cam? Is there anything I can help with?

Is the club able to bring a chicken/turkey burger or veggie burger? :) :) (I don't eat red meat)

It'll be me and possibly 1 passenger (friend)

I think we are all good. Perhaps throw some brewskies in your "truck fridge"

Ill do the shopping on the 30th so hopefully everyone will know if they are "in or out" by that point.

Ill do a tally the morning of the 30th and head to the store, Ill get a few Turkey burgers as well, and the leftovers can go home with either you or me.

Last year Vern had a nice big tarp that helped a lot. There are usually several BBQ's as well.

Please post up what you can bring......
