Some of cam's hole, a few of the rusty ugly trucks in front of a clear cut in front of a purty sunset...

and general snowiness. My pics suck tho, Mels the one with the camera that requires it's own tow vehicle.

I didn't get any of "sideways sutherland" pulling the crazy ivan halfway down the hill tho...:flipoff2:

Hey Vern

You asked about the compressors - they are are the MV50 Superflow. All the Copper State Cruisers I met last April swear by them. I have two wired in series running on 24 volts, so I air up two tires at once. Best bang for the buck for small 40's and 70. A lot of guys carry a spare. The head can be ported for quicker performance. Click on the picture.

If you have the room the Puma 12 volt is the way to go. Industrial quality, but too big for me - works in the 60 series. The tank can be separated.

If you buy either of these directly from the US - DO NOT USE A COMMERCIAL COURIER - find someone that will ship United States Postal Service, otherwise you will be charged $40 brokerage fees on top of HST.

Thanks Can for organizing yesterday's run - always great to get into the mountains.

We had a great time yesterday! :D

Here are the few pics we took with my crappy point and shoot camera, including a great pic of Jason and Dan.

here's a few of mine. Wish i had one of the look on Andrew's face pulling a Ricky Bobby on the ice in front of me, thinking i was plowing into the side of his truck!! One on the way in, coming down off the mountain, and Cam getting his junk all twisted up.
Good fun, Happy New Year!

Sweet trip indeed!

As usual I was on my way to carnage free run. Then with less than 50ft of trail left I decied that everyone taking the bypass is a fool and I know better..... dumb move. Especiall considering I was the lead. We managed to do some tree relocation and shoe-horned Jayson's 60 round my self created road block, got him turned around and he winched me out of my 37+" hole. Never the less with the trail end in sight, I had broken a tail light. Par for the course I suppose seeing as its always the last obstical that gets me. I hope everyone was as entertained as I was!

Thanks Glen for the coffee and being Trail Leader,
Thanks Vern/Dana for the tables and campfire,
Thanks Andrew for the "wobbely pops"
Thanks Dan for not T Bone'n Andrew
Thanks Ryan for not "seapotato(ing)"

It was great to see Nigel and Justin comming along you guys were a blast.

But most of all, Thanks Jason for cooking and more importantly.....winching me out of my "hole"!!

All the best for 2011 lads,

Hey Glenn, how were the new MTRs in the snow?

They worked very well. However with the stiffer sidewall I did not get the huge footprint I used to get with the softer 33X12.5 Truxus at 9 psi .

I don't know why I look here still I just get home sick and misty eyed. Great trip guys and with cam their it takes some of the heat off of Jason to be "That Guy".
Happy New Year.

Somethin like this wasn't it?

Pretty much! I was instantly wishing I had invested in some SIDE ARMOUR lol

Shows how slippery it was even at lower elevation... pretty sure that was frozen dirt I slid on. All I did was kick it down a gear to help slow my decent.
