New Truck

Got a new mini today. 84 22re stock five speed stock t-case, but I still have the duels out of the 85. 35 12.50 no names everything works the cut the bed all up, but I am ordering the flatbed kit from all-pro. Along with some 6 inch springs and the high steer kit. Not a bad deal, all it cost me was a XBOX 360 that I never played anyways. I will start the build up thread in the next couple of weeks.

The kid seized the 22r up so they found a 22re in the yard and had it rebuilt... he was not into 4x4s I though he had a piece of crap so I came up with what I thought would be a great trade and he took the bait

I think that bed looks cool (I'm not kidding).

I'm confused as to why one would buy a flatbed kit though. Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier to buy some tube and go to town with the welder? Or is the bulk material in the kit generally less expensive than going to the steel yard?

X2 on best use of an XBOX. You are right about building it your self. Only thing is I leave to Iraq in March so I will not get a chance to work on it. Thank God for good friends, my buddy is going to work on it while I am gone in return I will work on his when he is gone. Win Win. I really like the concept on building my own. I think I am going to take some welding classes at the local college when I get back. Maybe buy a Mig welder and a pipe bender, it would be allot of fun.
