Damn!

That came out nice

Nice roof basket by the way.

Some guy hooked me up with that ;)

Seemingly, a portion of the CSC club has a finger in this build one way or another

Looks great! I had a 62 grab handle in my old 60 and loved it. I also put some '62 A-pillar handles in using nut-zerts, as well as the b-pillar ones for the back passengers. Made getting in the lifted truck a little easier. I still think a lifted 60 is one of the best looking trucks out there.

WOW!!! Eric, what a great job you have done with this rig. Almost makes me want a 60, they are such great rigs and this thing is just cherry now!

Nice! Next thing you know random people in red Tacomas will start wildly honking their horn at you at the Raintree / Northsight intersection. ;) You looked like a proud papa...

 saw you ~

So...on Sunday I went over to Jjgarci1's garage and he mocked up the sliders after we messed around with the preferred positioning.

Picture shows the basic unfinished slider with some loose grating on top. Since then he now has all the legs, mounting brackets, and gusseting tacked in. Final welds and paint this week then back to his house Thursday to drop off the 60 to get them welded to the frame.

Hes got some nice equipment. Even a big Blue Puma that is 5' tall !

ready for paint as of this morning!

The sliders are done. John G took the trailgear sliders and welded some grating on top then welded them to the frame.

Turned out good! Thanks John ~

The sliders were welded to the frame and gusseted - 3 arms per side.

The grab handle is mounted inside, the manifold will be here Thursday, and later Ill be adding the rear sway bar assy from a 62 series and put extended sway bar links on all four corners to compensate for the lift.

Added a 1/2 body lift today to make it an even 3" lift. :D

Last week I scavenged a used sub box and amp from a friend. Getting a new 10" speaker and some wiring in to add some extra sound.

Sweet !!!!!!

gotta have tunes :hillbilly:

Got the manifold assembly in and removed the old one. Ready to install tomorrow. Looking forward to no exhaust leak :D

BTW, has anyone here done the 62 series sway bar mod on the back of thier 60 - any feedback?

Murf, I see the obligatory "metric Crescent wrench" in your second photo. Your truck is going to be too nice to drive if you don't stop soon.

Looking better than any 60 I've seen in the past several years, keep posting up pictures.

Thanks ~ Dont worry, Im almost at the end (yeah right!) Dont worry it wont ever be "too nice" and ill wheel it. Thats why the sliders :D. I took it out last weekend with my daughter for some picnic/exploring near Sunflower and did some light 4wheeling. It is a capable little rig but Ill leave the much harder stuff up to my 80 due to lockers, clearance, etc.

Couldn't find a 3FE exhaust manifold?

No didnt occur that it would be better - are the ports larger than the 2F?

Never done it, but may have the parts?

Do you have a complete set up laying around Kevin? Need everything but the links.
