Haven't been driving the 40 much this summer but I got around to making my new bike rack fit it so thats something. Maybe I'll drive it more now.

Also picked up a new dd.. Traded the 06 power wagon in on a 21 tundra with 17000km on it. It's the newest vehicle I've ever owned but I can still say I've never bought a brand new one.

Not going to lie. Your dog’s picture is kind of trippy. It looks like the ball is his bottom jaw and then there’s another jaw…once you see it it’s hard to unsee

Dug the 40 out of the car port last week and she's in the garage again. Started messing around with some random stuff I've been meaning to get done.

I got tired of having to slam the ds door to get it to close so I welded a little tab behind the worn latch to fix it. Works mint now. Got the relocated rear license plate mount light wired up then added a battery disconnect under the hood at the battery.

Also did the R. Kelly Golden Light Shower mod to the headlights with some Lamin-x. I've always loved the yellow headlight look and I think it suits the van pretty decent... let's see what it's like to drive at night with lol.

Nothing huge but at least I'm tinkering with it again.

It rained for a week straight so I locked myself in the garage and huffed some paint. Painted both axles, steering links/trac bar, ditch lights, spare tire carrier and a bunch of other little things that looked like s***. Hopefully it'll look a little less s***ty now.

Threw a set of holy gussets at the slider/tube fender junction as well but didn't get any great pics of the after.

Sorry, I'm too lazy to search - is it coated in bedliner on the exterior? This is such a cool 40!

So not too terrible for mostly eyeballing with a few beers thrown in to make it challenging. Is it symmetrical? Probably not.. but it passes my qc.
