Scored some 37" km3's today, might try them on the 40 if i can find a deal on wheels. My buddy have me 4, 4runner steelies but I want less backspacing..

I’ve had several of those 16” 4Runner steelies…some wouldn’t‘t fit over the 40’s hub, some would.

Yeah eh, good to know. I'd ultimately like to find a set of beadlocks to mount the 40s on then use the m/t wheels the 40s are on now for the 37s. We'll see what pops up.

I'm running a set of Tundra steelies on my 40 with 1.5" spacers and it's worked pretty well for me. I've been following your build for quite a while and really dig your 40.

I’m running 40 axles with 60 outers for front disc brakes. I test fit this setup on my 80 as well and 1.5” cleared those axles too.

Pulled the trigger on some fancy wheels the other day.

The digital wheels came in, gonna stick out a little more than the analogs that were on there but thats what I was going for.

Now I just have to find the time to throw the tires on. Gonna try a set of 37" km3s I scored from a buddy instead of the 40s, maybe they'll be easier on driveshafts...
