I have wanted those LTB's on a second set of wheels ever since I bought my 100. They are so sweet on a 100.

Here's a preview of the 34 LTB's on a 100. You might check with Tabraha to see how his mileage has worked out for him. Although, I believe he has them on a second set of "offroad only" rims.

I'm curious to see how you like them on a DD after a few months.

Well, I got the new tires put on today.


And I must say.. Swampers are without a doubt in a class all their own.



My first impression when I saw them mounted on the 100...

WHAT A SWEET TIRE !!

My first impression after driving my 100 on the highway...

WHAT HAVE I DONE ?!!!

As you can imagine, Its a VERY different ride now ( to say the least ! )

The reaction from other drivers (the traffic was moving pretty nicely @55-65) varied from a guy "ducking" to look above his car to see perhaps a low flying plane, to a pissed-off look from a guy on his cell with the window part-way down. They are loud, but the sound is quite unique. The ride is lets say...Uh, even more Unique.

Then, I notice a official-looking Ford pickup staying close and the driver was looking over at me. 6-7 miles later, I get off the highway and go another mile or so to a Sams gas station...
I`m pumpin gas and the dude in the Ford appears out of nowhere on foot and was all excited to see a "modded" Toyota ! We talked for a bit (he was looking to buy a 60 or an 80) and then I was on my way.

Funny..The FIRST day I get those tires, and I get chased down ! ( thats never happened to me before in the 100)

I will test em this weekend, but for now, Her are some teasers I took tonight

As far as the tires go, your finger really shows how large each lug is...wow. I cant wait for you to tell us how those tires are in the rain ;p

lol....time to do some major dynamatting to try and help deaden the sound....but somehow i dont think anything can reduce the roar of swampers.

I dont see how anyone could get used to the noise, its more like accepting it.

They seem fairly "settled in" @ around 65mph running 44psi , the vibration is fairly minimal and the noise is, well..

Looks really nice. Make sure you rotate and attempt to balance them or they will get noiser. Kind of sounds like a twin engine turbo prop. I had a set of TSLs on my trooper, they were a lot smoother tahn I expected, but the noise was amazing.

BTW, I think the TLC traction control will be able to handle the rain OK.

Imiagine that sound in an FJ40 with the top off, my son and I decided that it was like being on WWII bombing run over Germany in a big four engine plane.

The ride is even more exciting when you get on California roads, Cal Trans does not know how to take care of blacktop.

Didja say 44 PSI??? I would lower that a bit. I run my 13x36 regular TSL's at about 25 psi on the street. That will smooth them out a lot and you wont wear out the centers as fast.
