I found my set, but my largest tap is one size too small.

If yours is handy I would love to borrow it. Otherwise I'll just make a stop at Sears.

Since you can't use a JDM plate holder being a D.S. tire swing just get a 2'-0" strip of aluminum and drill four holes in it. Then check the motorcycle shops for an LED license plate light. Then I just pulled the bulbs out of the stock location opened the tailgate up and spliced the wires for the new LED.

I temporarily moved the plate over one screw to the right.

The gas carrier has a spot for the plate. When it arrives I will wire up a better setup.

I did as Mark described with the piece of aluminum. I still rely on the stock bulbs for license plate ilumination tho. Haven't bothered with the LED strip yet.

It's a good temporary solution for you Boyd.

I planned to this this as well but put a simple nutcert in for temp use 2 years ago and haven't changed it yet. Of course mine is a IPOR bumper which is a bit different.

One thing I did notice is the tire seems to encroach into the taillight a bit, anyone ever have a problem with the Jonny Law for this.

That picture was a little off-center ( to the right ) from directly behind the tire doesn't block the taillight at all.

Now anything over 35 will start to encroach.
