Would this fit cleanly in an LX? I've got a 99 LX. I'm just thinking that above the head unit, the dash seems to take a harder rake forward than the landcruiser does. I'm wondering if the top of the head unit would clear and fit cleanly without trimming in an LX... Anyone here with an LX that can comment? Thanks,
no it was not me....I got a Lexus it is a different install as wiring is all f'd up for Lexus Nakamichi plug and our opening is rounded and slanted at top...so I had to get a special trim piece for it to look professional and factory or there would be a gap at top.
Do you have any information about the different plug and trim piece?how is that camera mounted? Looks like someone could swipe it fairly easily

Update:
Simply put...... I love it. The only beef I had with it was that if there was a slightly sunny day the screen washed out making it almost impossible to see. Well that was before I figured out how to adjust the color settings. Now it's great.

Try the spoiler. Nice high mounted spot.
Stay tuned. I'm about to post some pics of my new install. It will have amp location pics.Ok so I ordered the pioneer. Also bought a new amp and speakers for the doors. I'm thinking I'll keep the OEM amp and subwoofer and then run the door speakers from the new amp. Any suggestions about a good location for the amp?
