Hello all. I wanted to update with a few pictures. I picked her up in San Francisco and drove her 615 miles down the coast with no real issues. Now the preservation and parts search begins!

Home in Encinitas.

Parts I'm searching for as of now:

Glovebox door

All interior panels

Interior door latches

Rear side marker light

ALSO and most importantly would be a good body fabricator in the San Diego area that can cut out roof gutter rust

All the interior panels can be found here - purchase from a great guy here in the 55 forum - I have to look up his user name.

Hey fellas! My 55 has sprung over suspension which sits it up 8 inches for rock crawling. I'm not planning on doing any crawling, mostly forest roads and camping trips with my son and daughter. SO is there a best way to reduce the lift height on a spring over set-up?

Hey guys! It's been a few weeks with this Pig as my daily driver and I'm kicking around the thought that it might actually be too much truck for a daily (I know, its crazy). I've been taking a look at dropping the lift down and bringing the SOA to SUA but there is so much going gone under there that has been professionally modified just for this truck ... I would feel weird spending money to take apart equipment thats makes this Pig so sweet. SO if anyone is looking for a 55 I would be open to talking. Or if anyone is looking to swap for a 80 series cruiser. Here are the details on this rig:
