Wow! how much lift do you have on there to fit 37s? I would really like 37s on my HDJ81.

SOA with a 2" body lift and fender trimming. 37" on an 81 sure would look good. Better be prepared to cut fenders unless you want it jacked sky high.

Yeah I was eyeing up the Slee 6'' but it may not be in the budjet this year. I may have to settle for some spacers to lift me me up another inch and 35s this year...

Cam, that's awesome dude. I am looking forward to seeing it go and the setup in the flesh. I'll be copying a few things, but using more duct tape.

Nice work Cam, good seeing you again and thanks for dropping by the shop.

Your setup is top notch, really cool how you set back the rad and condensor to make room for the inter cooler.

Really appreciate your business.

Well I buggered around with driveshafts the other day. I needed to extend the front a couple of inches and the rear was a bit short as well.

I took the long snout off a couple spare shafts I had lying around and one I bought from Hellbent 40 (another old Crusty shaft passed along). Then welded the long snout where the short one used to be.

I used a dial gauge to get them straight before welding and after a steep learning curve I have 2 longer shafts.

The rear was tricky and the only reason I even attempted the rear was because the front was so easy. The rear was harder because I had to shorten the tube and the tube is tapered but with a little care I managed to get the run-out withen a couple thou. No Vibes. Nice.

i don't see any empty beer cans in the background! roaches are harder to spot i guess...:flipoff2:

ha ha ha.....What? You are a detective now? No roaches at all Sherlock. (had the vapourizer going that day) :flipoff2:

Ive been busy the last few days working on an ugly job.... frame repair.

Dan stopped by thursday and helped out... Thanks Broskie.
Steve put in 2 days helping as well! we got trashed twice in as many days but got it all done.

My retard of a cat dragged my camera off the desk by the coard and when it hit the floor the usb plug and cord got damaged.

No pics. Boo.

Today I cleaned the chaos in the shop and got a new project under way. A clean project.

My Battery hold downs looked like cr*p so I made some stainless ones to replace them. I scrounged some stainless from the dump the other day and it came in handy!

Sorry for the cell phone pics...

what kind of cord? I prob have a spare one...

also those tig welds look alot better when you're not loaded :flipoff2:

Its the standard USB to mini USB and the cord has a cylinder thing near the small end. The real problem is that the mini USB port in the camera has been shoved inside the camera case and is bent in there. :hhmm:

I have several of these cords too Cam.

get a card reader for the memory card. It'll go in a USB port on your computer. They are usually cheap.

Nice work on the truck.

Stopin the flop...

I needed to find a way of stopping the flop in the 60.

I had some pretty leaned over 14" Rancho 5000's, and (no where new) rear springs. With the addition 150lbs to the roof rack (RTT) the truck would be dragging its door handles in the corners. I needed a cheap solution so I went hunting for air bags.

Found some firestone ride rite's on used Vic.

Day of fab work, throw in some Bilstein 5125's and the 60 feels like a go cart and I can raise or lower the back 5 inches. Handy for tent leveling!
