Is there more room in a kzj78 than a hilux? It can get pretty tight in them, not much room for the fan
I think there's plenty of room in a HD 70series front end
Do he need to facelift front to hzj77 face so he could have more space? hzj77 face is longer I think.

hzj79lee, you are making me cringe
Proves the 1uz can fit into the lj without needing to change the front end.
Did LJjuz made u interested in chopping rear end? It looks so adorable and agile like a deer!![]()
gotoy said:One little problem is how to mount 2 batteries?
Options are:
1. Move alternator...
2. Mount 2 batteries and bash the wing panel..
3. Just mount 1 battery
The other side does not have anyroom as the air filter will be mounted there:
Is there room under the floor somewhere to mount a battery? I'm thinking I'll have to do this with my bj73 when I put the 12ht in there, turbo is on the same side as the battery and I want to put a bigger air filter in that side
Only way I can forsee is to use a shaped gell type battery like an optima.
Yeah that would be the most likely way around it, is there any room under the floor to make a recessed cavity for it? I think ive seen someone do that on the forum in a bj73/74. If i can fit it i wouldnt mind having a single battery for the whole car but have one of those big truck batteries.
Something like this

I remember seeing pics of battery mounted at the back of the car in LWB LC. That is another option.

Yes there would be some room somewhere, but those type of batteries are just not economical to buy here in Malaysia, just too expensive.
For single truck battery:
That was another option. However I wish to keep the cranking battery and winch battery separate from each other.
Had a bad exper a few years back when I lost the use of 2 batteries wired in parrallel!!
Anyway, decided on using 2 x N70Z batteries.
