So whats next?

Looking for a 14bt or 15bt engine mated to a 60series 5speed box.

Originally was planning for just a 13bt but was advised these are now quite old engines now, which is true. So hopefully a reasonable 1996-2002 15bt engine can be found.

Last week we went to one place and there was at least 10 15b in stock, but the sump was all wrong.

That will be a pretty sweet rig! I look forward to seeing how it works out.

What was wrong with the 1KZTE that was in it?

That snorkel looks like from wide front HD cruiser.
15B is rather $$$ to buy now, I saw a few units at Bave Caves area last week.:D
Where is your dashboard?
For expedition or daily usage car?

There was nothing wrong with the 1kz and auto box and I sold to some one upgrading his lwb lc2 from 22r.

Snorkel is supposed to be for the 76/79's. Fits the body better and a little larger internals.
Dash taken out for wiring.
Planning a slow buildup for expeditions.
Have to decide on 2" or 4" suspension.
8274 winch on the front.
Lockers and air.
Thats about it.

Still awaiting the 15B engine and turbo. 60 series gearbox, think its H55F, sorted.

Anyone can advise on R&P size? I believe 4.56 would be most efficient at 35" tyre size.

Regarding the snorkel? Will the snorkel from a narrow front also 75/79 fit the Bundera?

What turbo are you using?
You'll need to get the B series H55F from the 60 series gearbox.;)

Yes, B series H55F is what the gearbox is.

Turbo, either CT26 or a garret.

Will fit, with a not too much to worry about gap along the wing.

Engine will arrive tomorrow, 06-09-12.

Remember to take note with the mileage on the cluster.;)

Yep thanks for that reminder.

Should be able to post a few piccies soon... a day or 2.

Still looking at what ratio r&p to use. Vehicle presently has 4.3.

Next fuel pump has to come off and be sent to Sabah for mod and tuning. Also a turbo to be sent for same process. This will take about 2 weeks.

Gearbox is present and is from a 60 series having a 3B. H55F.

What is the mileage of this engine?
From Dyna truck or megacruiser?
KK is the "notorious" place of this 15B, everything mod to them is at the finger tip.:steer:

Didn't see your box?

Km was 170k. This is from a truck. The units from the megacruiser are far too expensive now.

Ya parts are going to KK.

I forgot to take a picci of the box. 60's 5 spd, non vacuum type. Sure you familiar with them.

170K is a low mileage engine.
The box should have the vacuum shifter if it comes direct from Japan.
How much is the box selling now?
We're getting it at RM6K here.
The box that fits HZ is at rocket price now.:bang:
