New Guy, needing some help!

I will defer that to our treasurer Steen, screen name steenh... I only get sporadic e-mails concerning membership, but usually get them at some point. PM me your details (name, address etc...) and I will get you out a new member packet. Even if you don't have a running cruiser, come out to Aunt Sue's... Get to meet a bunch of people, maybe win some fun prizes and just all around have a good day...

Hi Kevin,
You are in for 2011. Welcome aboard, and don't feel too good about feeling like you'd fit in. Like Will Rogers said, "I don't want to be part of any group that would have me as a member"... or something like that.

Thanks. Steenh.

As for the meet I would love to go, but the city has red lined that weekend because of a motorcycle gang having a rally in the city. Plus I'm on nights now and would have to take Fri and sat off to make it. So I hope I can make the next meeting but aunt Sue's is going to be missed.

Thanks. Steenh.

Good to hear, I know a few others that have a 60 & 62 that I work with. Not sure if there on the site though

always nice to have some cops for friends.

Hey Kevin I live in Clemson, I've got a 60 and a 40.....let me know if ya need a hand.....welcome to the club.

Thanks man, I'm about to crash for a few hours and then take the 80 to the dealer to see about my issues. Might need ya help in the future, just got to get it running right b4 I start the fun stuff

I was crowned 80 master a few years ago by replacing a 1FZ in 2 days, so any questions that I can answer for you I will do my best, or point you to someone who knows. I did have a complete head off my old one (bottom end failed) so it was good, but I sold it for scrap a month or so ago. I got pics on here somewhere, but i'll never replace the motor in an 80 again, that was a one time deal. But I also got a 60 air born once :grinpimp: and I won't be doing that again either...

I'm sure ill have plenty of questions, and hopefully the testing at RHT will start me in the right direction. I really do appreciate the warm welcome and all the help

...and then "knock, knock, knock..."

:flipoff2::flipoff2:
Bring it sucka!

Wrong way around, it was knock, knock, knock... then remove old engine, tranny and t-case as one piece, and put new engine bolted to tranny and t-case back in with all electrics hooked up in 2 days...

Eventhough: were you in downtown Clemson today, I though I saw an FJ with signs and graphics. Was that you?
