Would you be able to post a pic of where you spliced the wire in? I got the lights installed yesterday and ran the cord down the drivers side fender but haven't actually wired them in yet. I'm a bit unsure on how to proceed. I like your idea of wiring them to the parking lights.
Sorry …just saw this.

I broke the clips off two of the mounting brackets on the old OEM grill when removing as well. My original bolts and nuts were a bit rusted but the alpha garage fits pretty well. I’m not sure how I like the all black but would be easy enough to swap out with a silver Lexus badge as it’s sold separately

Looks good with the black but with my “vapor blue metallic” I’m digging the silver. Here’s a couple more pics. Got the lights in but not connected yet.

Was looking around in front of the drivers side front wheel well tidy and saw these two connections just hanging there. Any thoughts? I think my truck had the night vision at one time but it no longer has the Lexus windshield so maybe these are remnants of that?

Fog lights?

Headlight cleaner (not available in US, for Canada and maybe others)

Ok here is another functionality question that I can’t seem to find anywhere in the forum. In place of a night vision dial I have an “on/on” rocker switch. Can’t seem to figure out exactly what it is turning on. 😂
Any thoughts?

Likely something the previous owner installed that is no longer hooked up to anything? I guess I’d have to follow the wires to really figure it out. It just seems funny to have an on/on switch.

I was going to replace my cracked LX grill with one of these but it appears they are no longer offered on their website. I have sent them an email to confirm but have not heard back.

there are at least a couple other places that sell these grills. trailrunnercustoms is one site. I remember there was another one but can't recall the site. Do a search for LX470 TRD grill and you'll find a site that sells them.

You know, after having this grill in for a while I'm pretty happy with it, the only thing that I think would be cool if one of these companies offered would be a Lexus L logo insert that would fit in the opening where you insert the silver Lexus "word" logo. They'd obviously need filler on either side of the L, but it could be similar to the surrounding area. Might be kind of cool. I finally got my lights wired in. Looks pretty cool in my opinion - I know raptor lights are a love hate thing, but I personally like the look. I added some yellow tint laminex to the fog lights as well!

I agree with you on the Lexus L logo. I’ll go back to stock if it doesn’t grow on me.
Regarding raptor lights, did you tap into the corner lights or use Add a Circuit fuse it came with and which fuse location did you use? Planning on finishing up the wiring this weekend.

I tapped into the corner light, which was a pita to get off. I actually pulled the lens cover off the unit itself and had to use clear jb weld to get it back on (ugh). I pulled the light off and cut the green wire, stripped a bit back, put some heat shrink on and twisted the raptor light wires with the two green wires, soldered them together and heat shrinked them all together. The ground I just unscrewed a bolt that was holding a different ground to the body of the engine bay and wrapped the wire underneath and tightened it back up. I plan to redo that and solder an eye on the ground (actually do it the correct way). I did have to add wire to the live wire coming from the lights.
