As Jeff vaguely noted, he is going to be out of town on family business virtually right up to the event.

In the mean time, I'll be filling in for him... so if reading this, go ahead and send your registration and info directly to me. This way we can better provide shirts and such.

PO box 1893

or email me tonytwiddy@yahoo.com. You can also paypal your registration to that ID.

We will not know fire status (confirmed for event) till the Thursday, July 24th, before the event. Plan accordingly. Long time event attendee Aric and crew will be on firewood detail if a Go.

Jeff Dirks will be taking the forest service road Friday.
Garret will be taking the trail Friday.
both informal groups leave the O'Brien store at 9 AM.

At least, this is what I understand.

As I always say... family and career first, then 4 wheeling.

I just ran the trail yesterday, and it's in good shape, a couple spots have gotten a little worse, but it should be no problem. Lots of :cough: pin stripping to be expected.... :D Although the dust will make it look worse than it is....

Tony add me to the list, I just got the map and trail ride info in the mail from Jeff, thanks and sorry I was so late sending it out.

I hope to leave Santa Rosa on Thursday morning and do the Friday thing so +1 taker, should I put the hitch hauler on and bring my old beater dirt bike? I have a green sticker but havent started it yet this year so hopefully it will run.

Is there a good motel 6 type (cheap) place close by?

Is there still time to come out? My plans changed and I will not have the opportunity to get down there.

Clint, I'm also leaving from Portland area on Friday.

if you are asking if time left to register and attend... yes.

Will be coming in Friday from Roseburg, camping at Sourdough, may caravan in with those from Portland, Clint I will give you a call. As for the potluck, we'll be bringing taco salad and margarita fixins.

I'm planning on running in on Thursday and setting up camp and then running tail end Charlie for the Friday run with Toy350. If there is a group going in on Friday afternoon depending on what time the morning group gets in I may be able to come out and lead ya'll in as well if need be.
