It should be no problem for you, there are only a few tough places without bypasses. A bone stock Toyota 4x4 of any type can do the trail, but there is a possibility of damage (mostly rocker panels) in those tough spots. I know we had a (stockish) 100 out there 3 years ago, I don't think he had any trouble. But the trail has gotten a little harder over the years since then.

ya but he did say he wasnt bringing it next time.

that being said, as long as you dont mind pinstriping you'lll be fine

on another note, if i hadnt had to read the f250 post three times it would have been funny. maybe bring it so the yoats can pull u out :flipoff2:

Good point gnob, EXPECT pin striping! No worries though, it should buff right out :D

Nathan Campbell, really nice guy, local Yota mechanic/fabricator & owner of Ken's Auto, (has attended in the highly modified lime green FJ40) just contacted me hopeing to volunteer. If he makes it, he's willing to be trail sweep again on Saturday with his tools, welder, compressor, etc. to "make sure" everybody makes it to the potluck. He's also already garnered some pretty nice raffle fodder too :)

PS - My bad for procrastinating, but Todd K's really working hard at trying to fit in last years run write-up into the next Trails. Keep your fingers crossed.

I was wondering.... :D That coupled with the sign up sheet in the next issue should fill registration fast.... Are we still limited to 50?

(note to self: Get checkbook ready...)

The idea was to run the article this Spring, to get some folks thinking, but I ddin't want it this CLOSE! It's still a surprise if Todd was able to squeeze it in & we'll see how it goes with discussion of adding Fri., we might be eeking the number up a bit. Tony & I still like the idea of keeping this run fairly small, for the flavor, but that is our personal opinion.

I think it could get a little bigger without killing the mood, but I like the small feel too. There's plenty of camping space, that's for sure.... :D I bet the friday run will help the sat run go easier.

Thanks for all the effort to make McGrew a great run Jeff!!!

P.S. What's the word on the Obrien store bathrooms, did we do them in last year? How much are port-a-potties? :D

I agree that with an extra run that a few more rigs in there would not be an issue. Also thanks again Jeff (and Tony) for the work you guys put into this run.

Actually portfj62 and his wife wheeled their bone stock 100 with bfg A/T's on it last year without issue (other than the said pin striping). I wheeled behind a stock taco that had no issues as well.

Should be another great year!
