very cool and nice work!

question, how does it secure? like where it meets the door opening(under the plastic trim) the original carpet has a plastic piece that clips onto the body, then the plastic covers it and locks it down(if I remember right) I suspect you can re-use the clip and just staple it to the new carpet

again, nice work! (price seems very fair)

Landpimp, you're dead on. You'd just remove the plastic wiring harness "bridges" from your existing carpet and either re-staple or glue them in place on the new carpet. Then, the remaining unfinished carpet edge will be held in place by the plastic door sills. Even the OEM carpet never sat as flat on the floor at the door openings as I thought it should. Evidently, Toyota worked that out on the 80s, 100s, etc., as their carpet seems to have a more firm foundation at the doors.

Thanks for the kind words, and I worked as hard as I could to keep the price as low as a few hundred dollars less than other carpet I don't see as being as nice and "correct" as this. We'll see if others agree.......I'm just a Land Cruiser nut like the rest on here. I'm not trying to get rich off the buyers, I just want to add what I can to the hobby and to do my small part to help keep these trucks desirable for as long as possible.

interested! 87 grey 60. do you offer just the cargo area and tailgate pieces individually? My front section is on great shape.

Sometimes its Ih8competition I guess and all it takes is one complaint. Keep your chin up if you have the product right people will find you through referrals etc.

Thanks for the kind comments. (EDIT: The rest of earlier post #28 is no longer applicable.)

Thanks for the kind comments. Yeah, it's really difficult to complain when you're able to use a platform set up / maintained by as nice a guy as Woody. I'm just wondering if I unwittingly crossed some line that the MANY other active 60 forum sellers didn't cross.

We'll figure it out.......
Now that you have a supporting vendor designation you should be good to post as the others do IMO. A level playing field is all anyone can ask in these circumstances I think

I can't find a thread about this over there.

OK, I worked things out with Woody and I'm BACK here on the 60 forum! He's very accessible and easy to work with!

Regarding certain pieces of the kit: There had been no initial plan for offering just the cargo and tailgate portions, primarily due to color and texture variations between OEM and this aftermarket carpet, but let me check with the mfr. I'll respond when I receive a reply.

Thanks,
David

Just received word last night that the brown carpet material arrived this week and is now in stock! Still waiting to hear on the grey, but any of you who want to go ahead and order a brown 60 or 62 set, please PM me with your year model (specify brown carpet so I'll know you read this message :hillbilly:) and complete shipping address (not just the zip code), and I will respond with a total shipped price.

(EDIT: Just received word from the mfr. that this carpet is being sold as a complete set and not as individual pieces. Sorry to those of you who were interested in only the cargo / tailgate pieces.)

Thanks,
David
