Sliders tacked on front and rear

Droop and compression tested and full travel is allowed without running out of track on the sliders

Height is down from 29" to 26.5". Less than I'd hoped, but I'll loose another 1.5-2" with full weight on the frame and i'll loose close to an inch when i have the perches lowered which should put me at 23-24" to the bottom of the from rail. Still a big step up, but manageable.

Rodney,

Sure do like the look of the sliders. Your guy is doing a good job. Nice job on the boxing in of the spring hangers, too.

I measured my frame, to get an idea of your height. Mine is at @ 20 inches from the bottom of frame. It's a SUA, so really yours isn't too tall being a SOA.

Rodney, looking good. We got the same haircut and welding helmet.:beer::beer::pig::pig::pig:.

Thanks Bob.

Don't let Ron hear you say that. He's already complained about the excessive glare my stylish do causes in pics ;)

Thanks Ron. I think I'm just going to have to start doing some morning calisthenics to prepare for the climb into the pig once she's ready:bounce:

I'm really happy with the sliders. He's going to make some gussets for the front sliders next week to better brace it against the frame

Hey, I'm in the brotherhood! :)

Wow Ron, fresh coat of wax this morning?

The Soa was a bit of a rough road, but in the end seemed to turn out ok. I say seemed because the pigs been on the back burner for a while, so its not yet drivable for me to be able to test it on the road. . It was taking both too much time and too much money and I don't want to take too many shortcuts. I will say this, it lifted it quite a bit more than i expected it to and never settled in lower. I have a hdj81 with a 4" lift (same size tire), and it is A LOT easier to climb up into.

I have no intention of giving up on the pig. I'm doing some work to the HDJ81 and then will move back to the pig. Hoping to find a place to work on it myself and just hire out fabrication. My brother in law is planning on building a metal building which would allow me to restart, but it hasn't yet happened, so i'm still looking.

The bodies on, engine, transfer case and transmission are in it. I'll try to get a decent pic posted up

I'll take a look. Thanks!
