I live in Silk Hope too! Off of Epps Clark. Are you the guy w the FJ-62? I also have a blue FJ-60 and a green FJ-40

How many miles on the 2f and associated TLC work in the past 15-16years????? its almost time to send this back to TLC for its next $31k traunch ???? 😬

it seems like a great vehicle given it only depreciated $4k in the past 16years......someone needs to grab this for $27k and toss another $31k at it and only be $58k all in with a refresh. You can drive this another 16 years and offload it for $54k im betting......winner winner chicken dinner.

You are not taking into consideration that the $30k spent on repairs on top of the cost of the vehicle. You are basically getting a vehicle that was mechanically completely restored by a well respected company that does very good work. You can also see that the motor has been rebuilt and other work has been performed since that restoration to keep this in top shape. I don’t know all the in and outs of this truck but if you think this price is unfair show us something else that you can buy close to this condition for cheaper. Please just be fair with your comments.

Just remove all pictures of restoration cost.. leave truck description, pictures and price
said... "restoration done by TLC" .. end of sentence.. and you will get less unwanted discussion :)

Thanks for the advise. Just thought it would be nice to show people that were considering the purchase. Yes someone spent a whole lot of money on a restoration at one point and that’s probably while it’s still being enjoyed today. The great part is the new owner just gets a nice truck at a fraction of the price and doesn’t have to wait 1 to 3 years to have their truck finished.

just dont let anyone know it was done 16 years ago and has gone 160k miles in the interim.....

A $150k ICON done 1 ago wont fetch $75k. But im sure a $30k TLC done 16 years ago will surely fetch more than half:rofl:

Exactly.

He needs to determine that. The H55F with a 40 series top cover is a very sought after transmission.

That does not have a 40 series top plate it has a 60 series top plate and shifter.
