one piece of suggestion. in your pics you use a lot of rubber hoses, try to eliminate them and change them to metal or aluminun ones, they are better as they dont expand. it will make a bit more power and less maintenance.

13 PSI . ! 130 km/h and pushing hard .. 1200 F no more ..

The only issue is at this speed and turbo press the water temp ( factory gauge I know I know .. are not acuracy ) goes up

But I'm so happy !!!! :grinpimp:

At 2K rpm I get 10 psi ..

I promise a video .. :D

P.S. I know dude .. and thanks for your advice about rubber .. now I can order some replacements and piping for my setup.
 
Yeah, the wastegate adjustment was way off.
Now it builds boost as soon as you put your foot on the pedal.
Incredible how the egt's have fallen off. We couldn't get them past 1200F under heavy load and high speed.
By 2000 rpm you get 9-10 psi and past 2500 rpm boost keeps rising to 13-14 psi. I guess that little turbo wasn't maxed out after all at 7 psi. :)
The intercooler seems to be working good as the egt's are kept in check. We don't know what the pressure drop is yet cause we havent measured pre intercooler boost, But i'm sure it should be significant. I can't imagine how well the engine would run with a better intercooler.

Now the engine temp rises when you maintain high load and high boost condition. I guess it must be that hte engine is developing more Power and the radiator is insufficient now. Good thing is that it cools off quickly if you get off the gas.

Throttle response is great and there is Zero smoke under any conditions.

I'm really happy with the results.

we Have a little issue with the exhaust gasket .. need to solve it in the next week and the video for sure come.

It sounds like the turbo really perked up the 2H.

Hi mates ..

Well after some time fighting with my exhaust to turbo elbow gastet yesterday my last try with those ..

I'm little confident about this ..

The issue is I'm not sure if I'm getting too much backpressure at this point .. coz my factory ( heat to exhaust manifold ) exhaust gasket ( from my engine overhaul about 60,000 km agoo ) it's diying also ..

maybe you need to get the flange planed at a machine shop...

My next step after this weekend trip, pull the exhaust manifold and make a new flange to match with the plane on the turbo elbow adapter .. in the same way change all my gaskets here ..

Right now I'm boosting 10 PSI at 2k rpm and 12 at 2500 rpm .. but I don't try more than that ..

At this point I'm not sure if the complete setup can handle the backpresure ..
