I wish, that's a few years off before I start looking at diesels, just a curiosity.

I do not think prices will ever drop much on these,Toyota dealerships in Europe are struggling to sell new 200 series and the existing ones apparently have some issues.I already noticed that if a wrecked one shows up at the insurance auction the bids go very high !

Can buy in Oz with autos, transfer, stripped harness, sitting on a pallet between $14-18k USD.

Add $1k crating and $2-2.5k freight, brokerage/customs fees, and above $20k without all the incidentals that a cut would provide.

If memory serves, Diesel Toyz had the cut (for a conversion, not separate) listed for $30k on their website, sometime last year.

How's the timeline looking?

Finally loading up this week. Waiting to receive a booking number from Seaboard Marine. Will have a full blown update by the end of the week.

Update:

It has been a stressful week! Still waiting to receive a booking number from Seaboard Marine. They are in the process of changing the ship that does the Colombia route and I have been told by the Colombia office that there isnt any shipping services for 3 weeks. I called the Miami office and they said that its not true and are trying to verify the information. I have been stuck in first gear with the cargo ready to load in the container. I started looking at other options and have secured another cargo company King Ocean leaving from another port. So I am doing all the paperwork with them as we speak. Will have more info on Tuesday, which is the day that when we are supposed to load up the container. Monday is a dead day as its a Colombian Holiday. The next ship sails next friday August 21. I am constantly on the phone calling the Customs agent in Colombia, the shipping company, my customs broker in Miami, and my personal team in Colombia all ready to load just waiting for a booking number. All while trying to do my normal 9-5 job and delivering outstanding results..

On a side note. For future leather orders, I met this Wednesday with the owner of the Leather covers manufacturer, he flew into Orlando to meet with me. He was very intrigued with my order and wanted to know what it was all about. So I talked to him and explained to him how awesome this Mud community is and he really would like to work with me to continue this endeavor. I also told him the delay I have been having with exporting everything but most importantly the leathers. So he offered that he will take care of the logistics for new order now on and will ship directly to me in the states!! This is big news as shipping will be a lot more expedited and orders fulfillment will be a ton faster. So for those on the fence for leather the logistics from Colombia to the US for your leather has been solved and sustainable. He also offered different types of seat covers for the 80's/100's that can fit different budgets. So this will be very exciting for all mud members who want leather.

No worries on mine, I know it will be great and thanks for getting this happening. My interior will get done whenever, not on a schedule. I hope you get through as smooth as possible and it doesn't burn you out!

Good news for many on here! Is this who also produces the canvas seat covers? I know I'd like a set to cover your flaky Oregon leather competitor's product when I have them finally installed this fall.

Any way in the future to have some sort of listing/catalog/webpage to show all of the options that will be offered? Just a thought.

Thanks for the update Frank. Happy to get them when they come. Would your leather producer consider doing just fronts? My 2nd row is mint, and I'd only get a full set to change color.

Thanks and great job, keep it up!
