Ok I am due for another update.

So this past 2-3 weeks have been getting a lot of paperwork done and registering a Colombian company I had to have made due to the nature and quantities that I am exporting. Speaking with lawyers and the customs brokers it was suggested I go this route specially if I plan on doing this further. One of the requirements was getting registered as an official exporter with the DIAN (IRS Equivalent) and the Chamber of Commerce. Things in Colombia are not as quickly and not as easily done like in the US. Things take twice as much in Colombia than here. There is a completely separate process in doing each step. One of the main issues I had was legitimately showing how I purchased all the merchandise (leathers, seat covers, all the used parts) This will be in form of receipts, initially I had made the receipts in my name with my passport number, but then with the amount of stuff I am shipping it turns out I needed to have them with the company name that is doing the export rather than myself. Since I originally was gonna ship everything in the same container when I shipped back my rig. But then my order got bigger with 1 fj40 tub, and fj55 cab, a 78 fj40, 3 fj40 tubs, and my 80. So now I am sending back 2 containers. All of which everyone's individual orders are tied to. I am waiting to hear back today from the Chamber of commerce officially giving the Colombian company I created authorization to export. Once I have that I go to the DIAN with my registration and I can start exporting. Then next thursday, I will be loading up a container and taking it to the port. Then it will all be unloaded again to do inspections with the DIAN authorities and antinarcotics. All boxes will be inspected piece by piece. Then after that its loaded on the ship. From where the ship takes 10 days to reach Miami, being that its stops in other ports in the carribean before it heads back to Miami. Where it will be unloaded and checked and then given the green light to enter the US. Then it will be taken on an 18 wheeler to its final destination of Gainesville Florida at @mel lowe shop and warehouse.

My rig will ship with the second container along with the 78 fj40, the 3 fj40 tubs and with all the sliders. This container I plan on shipping late august.

Can you source superchargers down there?

@FloridaFJ80 So does that mean we are now looking at late August for the leathers??

I am afraid so. Sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience. It was either all of that or risk confiscation and/or further delays.

Sorry, I'm aback from Vacation, any way of placing an order for a good FJ40 74 - 82 Hood and/or a set of repro doors? PM Me or email mannys99@yahoo.com
I'm in Miami, so pickup would be quick and painless.

Also want to know about chargers
