Only set of nokians I've had. Got them at-cost few years ago. I can't complain about the one popping too much, it hit a nasty rock edge I couldn't see till I dropped down onto it. Same rock ripped off the fender flare and put a small dent on the inner fender lip. They have kevlar in the sidewalls but it wasn't enough. Have some chunking but holding up decent and seem to be doing well overall, but they are also my first MT tires. Summer only tires, they have zero siping and I would probably die driving with these on ice. The fact they are not common would lead me not to recommend, but happy otherwise. Not sure if there is a replacement MT coming to the US. I'll probably go with milestar patties when I upsize. You run Nokian normally? We had a great time!! lol. Including all the damage. It is expensive now that we are home...... Looking at 37's now, new wheels, sliders, etc, etc,..... lol

I did vegas gold powder coat to my internals - for what it is worth. decent match to the OEM pewter.I also pulled all of the silver interior pieces earlier in the week and dropped them off to have Cerakote applied.

I'm a little disappointed.

I should've known about plugs for Carling switches long ago, and I found out about them very recently.
I bought a couple packs of the crimp on heat shrink type spade connectors today. A pack of six was $15! Brutal.
The plugs for the Carling switch are $1.50. The terminals are dirt cheap.
Everything I had worked just fine. The only problem is that it's going in for paint this fall, and I would be paying somebody probably a full day to put my nightmare back together. So I spent two days soldering terminals and pinning out connectors.
Turned out well. Everything can be broken down much easier. If a switch fails it will be much more serviceable as well.

I like soldering more than just crimping. If everything flows like it's supposed to, it's a solid connection.

And I bought a hand held label maker. That should help alleviate some confusion.

My gauge cluster had a strange lighting issue. Sent them in and Dakota Digital turned repaired and turned them around super quick. That's what spurred having the silver interior bits recoated. I should have them back in a day or two and have a functioning 40 again.
I'll have to show you the label maker I just got. It prints on heat shrink. I got it cause I'm doing the same thing lol.
