Finished up my stereo upgrade.

Pioneer doesn't sell cages with their radios anymore so I made some brackets out of 16 ga steel.

Mounts to the stock brackets.although I shaved a couple of mm on the inside edges for clearance.

Added a proper startup screen too.

Scored a set of BestTop TrailMax II Pro seats.

Both the Lexus GS and Chevy Malibu seats were just a bit too tall for me. They'd work for a shorter driver with the Planted seat brackets. The Torfab brackets would be ideal, as they are lower. I just don't want to pull my rear heater from under the passenger seat

Message me if interested in those Lexus or Malibu seats, planted seat brackets or Corbeau seat brackets.

Found some old seat covers I had in another vehicle laying around.
They fit the 60 pretty well.

Added a period correct item too.

Slow and steady progress.

Not as cool as a V8 or fancy new gauges, yet...
but I replaced my disintegrating rear cargo carpet with some from @dnp
Only minor trimming on the wheel well cut out on the seat back was required.

It's a close color match to the factory tailgate carpet.

The jute pad isn't cut exactly to the size of the 62 series jute that it replaced but it's close enough.

Oh and it smells way better!

While I was in there, I drilled out all 10 factory holes in the cargo floor for 8mm rivet nuts. (7/16") was perfect size. The factory holes will accept M6 rivet nuts without modification.

Unlike others have found covered with tape, mine were covered with the factory sound deadener material.

A little JB Weld was used to seal it up. Some rubberized undercoating will go on the bottom to seal them up.

These can be used in the future for anchors or a platform for mount gear to.

The sound deadener on the inside of left wheel well was melted through due to it being above the exhaust. Leaving it open to the elements. Might want to check yours to prevent water intrusion and rust.

These Toyota bolts are a perfect fit.

These Husky anchors are know in the forums to fit. I'll need to drill out the holes a hair as these are 7mm.

Also, these Alu-Cab crossbar riser mounts fit directly. Perfect if someone wanted to due an extruded aluminum modular platform.

A rivetnut tool worked great for the double cargo hook holes but the single holes by the wheel wells required the old bolt and nut method.

I installed a Tuffy console a few weeks ago too. Tuffy front and rear cupholders. The rear is installed with wing nuts for easy removal when I need to fold down the rear seat.

I drilled some holes in a @bhicks sample cup holder and the console to install in the factory console cupholder location. Fits perfect! The taper of the cupholder, designed to fit the front of the late 60/62 console keeps the seatbelt buckle in place

Swapped the 40 wheels with 33" KM3s over to the 60. Just right!
