Nice one CLK. Beautiful vehicle. I bet that last couple of weeks' wait is going to to suck.

JW does some awesome work, even if every vehicle has at least two square feet of unicorn hide welded into the chassis. ;)

Very nice mate. You'll love it.

Another write up on the ICON and below the ICON is a 40 series owner and MUD member and a sweater of his.......

art of gear - all gear for all men

LOL cool site - hey, does that mean that only ICONs are cool? Art of gear dudes mustn't yet have seen a nicely restored or modded BJ or FJ 40.

AATLAS how does the "MUD member" find that TAD Gear sweater? I've got a replica of the original WWII British wool type commando sweater and it's toasty, but kind of clunky and bulky which reduces the comfort factor when layering.

Wow! If I had $150k, I have decided I'd rather have that than (insert number) restored Cruisers. That's right, I said it.

TAD Gear has a website...www.tad gear.com High quality, high priced.

Thanks for the TAD Gear link Garth.

I like the Icon. Really cool idea and execution. Were I able to justify spending $150,000 on a vehicle and if it was registerable here in Oz I'd be all over one.

Sadly though folks like me will have to live vicariously through CLK, waiting with bated breath for more updates and pics. :bounce:

Thanks craig!

BTW - The unicorn hide was used for the headliner.

Indescribably cool. I can't imagine how excited you are waiting for delivery. I get giddy waiting for a turn signal lens!

Awesome! I know what you mean. If I added up my weekly parts habit it's probably more feasible than I thought, but I Refuse to keep track of it - Fun ain't Cheap. :bounce:

I know right. I'd have flown down there and licked it up the day it was ready and then found dirt roads all the way home. But that's just me

When I look at the price of those things, I get Licker shock (But I prefer Liquor shock)
