Seem like I had an offer I can't refuse .... I'm probably gonna trade the 60 ....
Staying in the land cruiser scene at least. But for my use of the truck, I will be better with the one I be been offered for trade.
Still have to change the 5th gear synchro. Will take pictures of that for sure and start a new build thread in the appropriate section.
So ... Enough tease .. here is my future ride if everything goes as planned :
Triple locked fzj80, sadly letting the diesel but comfort was really an issue for a daily driver.

Begun the job I didn't want to do
Got the truck warm overnight and made space to work under it.
Pulled the T case part by part then Finally got to the 5th gear
That synchro was toasted
You can also notice the new design over the old one with almost 2mm more grip.
The ring was pretty worn too ,old:

Can't wait to try it tomorrow ... I don't have oil to put in it , will fetch some at my workplace.
I kept the old one ... But the new bearings took their place and it was a bit gray ... I rather put new fluid again ...
First ride this morning, and wow ... Feels good to have a working 5th gear
If the 80 owner change his mind on the trade ... I won't mind keeping it

It was a really fun truck , still a bit rough for a daily driver. My family will be safer in a 80 too .
