So not everything went as planned - but the good news is that all that was needed for parts other then the upgrades was the middle support bracket and no paintwork..... we did however run out of time to do the Hood vents / wrap and the painting of the bumper......

really like how the Dobinson looks - very hefty tubing and really solid..... I picked up a VR10000S that we'll mount in her next week -and will be custom mounting in 2 pairs of Baja Design driving / fog lights.

The headlights are not plug and play and have some issues..... we'll see if we can sort those out or if the vendor is going to ship new ones... but I love the way they look.....

the front camera is going to have to get relocated into the slot in the bumper above the winch - but requires a harness extension so we'll get that done and then put the "toyota" emblem in.....

the rear tails are plug and play - the shop is going to tint the rear lower marker lights to blend them next week.

ARB skids are on - very solid and really like the protection.

going to get some miles on her this weekend and some off-roading as well finally......

Happy Turkey day all

I'd like some info on the tails, please!

looks stealth - storm trooper...nice selections

I don't want to be a PITA, so please feel free to ignore this post ... but:

Couldn't help noticing your tire looks a little underinflated in this pic. It's almost impossible to correctly judge tire inflation by looks, so I could be wrong. Just FYI, your LT295/70R17 tires should run with a Cold Tire Inflation Pressure of 37psi F/R - anything less than that and you won't have the necessary Load Limit for your rig, anything more and you may experience harsh ride.

You brightened the pic! Nice!

Funny... It was so dark and I was so curious about the bumper, I saved it and edited it to see shadow detail.

Looks like the Dobinson's bumpers are pretty decent. Have you been able to compare them side-by-side with the ARB or TJM?

One concern I have is the lack of space between the bumper and fender. Someone banged their bumper pretty hard in OUray this summer, and the lack of space meant a warped fender. I wonder if you can move it forward a bit to allow for flex?

The clearance concerned me as well. Have a look at how much the bumper is designed to move relative to the body in this youtube video:

Looks like if there is not a clear gap between the bumper and body, normal flex could do some real damage.

Thanks for the note on the tire pressure - they were at 34lbs cold - moved them up to 38, but much of the bulge was due to the angle I suspect.

Very impressed with the Suspension after getting a chance to put 200 miles on her over a widerange of roads and 15 miles of dunes and dirt.... the Icons really are smooth...... I found setting them on the middle of the range for high speed highway driving makes her much "sportier" and planted..... going to soft on the beach / dirt roads was perfect and took 2-3 minutes

The Dobinson bar is really growing on me - as some noted it does seem to have less over hang then the other options, but hard toi know by how much... the clearance from the body and fenders seems more then enough but I'll keep an eye on it.... like the TJM it used a filler panel under the headlights. I'm torn on painting it bodycolor as I originally intended.....

Got the TEq emblem that they painted on last night..... much better.

I'll post up better pics once she's cleaned up -

Will you provide the supplier to those tail lights?

en traveling too much but hoping to finish off most of the mods around the holidays....

Found a set of the TRD 18's local and jumped on them and had the shop test fit a 305/70/18 Cooper ST maxx as a friend has them on his 4runner and I liked how they rode and look....... and luckily they fit ! the front will require just a 5mm Spacer to be comfortable wheelin' and airing down..... but there's about half a finger now.... very smooth riding and a bit quieter then the Toyo Rt's surprisingly.....one in the rear didn't balance out that well so they're pulling in another to replace it.

I also finally got the Spod and had it installed - neat fact, the Tundra sunglass kit fits our 200's perfectly !! can't wait to get all the lights wired up this weekend ! They also ran the wire back for the inverter - 1500 watts of Girlfriend pleasing margarita mixer power...... need to mount it up this weeeknd but it fits into the side panel of the ARB drawers nicely for now.

Where'd you get those sweet switches? also what do you plan on controlling with them?

@RS6tofj80 "They also ran the wire back for the inverter - 1500 watts of Girlfriend pleasing margarita mixer power...... "

I like where you're heads at!
hands down best use for a mod....

The switches are avail from Spod - you can customize the rockers.....

Toyota Tundra with Sunglass Holder Switch Panel- 2012-2017 (see notes)

if you call them they can create the kit as a dual LED and also you can request lower backlighting.... it also has a switch to turn the back lighting on and off. they were super fast and had it built and shipped to me in 5 days.

I'll be running a set of Hella 4000's, Baja Designs 40" S8 bar on the rack, Rigid side lights on the rack, rock lights, the ARB compressor, and then Baja design rear lights.
