I read most of the Axle Rebuild thread found here https://forum.ih8mud.com/80-series-tech/78276-front-axle-rebuild-faq-12.html But I just want to ask, does the Birfield/Axle shaft just slide out of the diff once the knuckle is removed? Or is there a cir-clip which holds the Axle shaft into the Diff? It should just slide in and out most or less, right?

I found this on google search, this truck looks pretty damn nice. Needs 35s and a rear rear bumper, but I'm kinda digging the black flares with the Snorkel.

I recognize that 80....it's mine! There is room for 35's, but not enough power, even with 4.88's. 33x10.50-15's will have to do. If you buy me a rear bumper, I'll run one 
The snorkel and flare paint job were done by the previous owner, but he didn't do a great job. One day, when I am rich, I'll repaint the whole thing and go back to the factory colored flares.
BTW, your 80 is very nice and I have drooled over it.

Ha! What are the odds of that! Yeah I hear you on being rich 
Is that snorkel for the 80 or is it a Prado version? The base looks shorter which looks good. Anymore pics of ur truck so I can have an eyegasim?
As for 35s and being slow, Mine has factory gears and High-pinion 3rds, so I think its 4.11? I'm running 33x10.5x15s and the truck feels pretty peppy, and runs interstate speeds to nicely.
If you want slow, try driving an 80s Subaru with 27" tires, and being a 3AT on top of that with 3.900 LOL, that is slow!

Alright, when I get paid next week, I am going to place an order with Cruiser Outfitters for the seal kit. 
Another question, there may be a thread about this somewhere, but anyway, the passenger side of my block always looks wet/moist. What else likes to leak on the 3F-E? The Valve cover no longer leaks with new seal and grommets, and the oil filter doesn't look to be leaking, anything else?
I will probably have to reseal the pan at some point, it looks pretty wet, right around where the crank is.
ALSO, if I drive the motor a little hard, I tend to get a little bit of smoke, oil is burning off the header, but I cannot see what could be leaking to cause this?

OH! I thought that was a cover on the side of the block. Good call! I may see if the bolts need re-torquing, I really don't feel like pulling the disty at this point in time

Something else I need to address sometime, this tensioner bearing has some decent play in it. Can I remove it, and press a new bearing into it, or do I just replace the whole pulley? If the bearing is replaceable, what is the part number so I can get one at NAPA or O-rileys.

Does this apply only to the FJ62 3F-E or will it also apply to the FJ80 3F-E?

Most of the part numbers you'll find in the FJ62(for the engine stuff) will also work in the fj80. So I would imagine that bearing could be replaced with the suggested one. As they said, its only listed as an assembly with the pulley from toyota.
You can also find lots of good stuff on how to do the oil galley plug there as well, thinks its in their FAQ. I go there and lurk every now and then to try to find good 3FE stuff. That is what I figured, thanks! And good call on the 62 FAQ. Feels good to be getting in the motion of fixing this thing for a change 
I have an idler pulley that I ordered thinking it was for the ac to replace the shot bearing. I ended up just repacking the bearing, it has been good for about a year now, no squeek. I still have the idler pulley if you need it.

Ok. So I ordered the Knuckle kit from CruiserOutfitters today $129 shipped. Now I'm just waiting till it arrives, Didn't get an email confirmation yet though?

Very nice take some pics for us.
Could be residual left from oil changes. Kinda difficult to remove the filter without dripping some oil about.
I'm surprised no one has suggested the Marlin Crawler Heavy Duty axle seals to go with your front axle rebuild. They're much better than the stock pieces.
