this might also be called drive belt adjusting bar?

the pulley on mine has seized, i need to get a new bearing. does anyone know the bearing # ?

this is for an fj62, the tensioner under the power steering,

If anyone knows, its CDan.

I don't think you can just change the bearing like you can on older mini-trucks. You need to replace the pulley and it's quite spendy. I'm on the road or I would check the ones I have.

PM "cruiserdan" here on Mud. He's a parts-guru at a Toy dealer in NM. He'll do ya right. Sometimes even better than aftermarket, so I hear. I know he recently was 1/3rd my local dealer's price on some other parts.

While you wait for the OEM #:

This aftermarket one is Autozone part # 835957 $USD 17.99 list price.
It doesn't list the location other than "with A/C".

If you're talking about the idler pulley, it's part # 16630-61020 for the FJ62. Bearing is not sold separately, according to the book.

yeah, cant get them from Toyota, but a bearing parts dealer can get them, I have no clue the part # but bought a pair of them many years ago, like $14 for the pair, just took the pully with bearing and said I need 2 of these.....and they came back wtih them

there is 2x 6202 bearings. did mine today. piece of piss to do

I did mine a few weeks ago. The bearing size on the AC and PS idler pulleys are 6301. This is off a 88 FJ62 US spec. I guess the 60 bearing size is different. Here is a pic showing the PN of the OEM bearing: NSK 6301DU2.

i ended up buying the whole tensioner assembly(from toyota), this was over a year back, and dont have the 3fe anymore in the truck

Can confirm that on my 89 FJ62, the idler pulley/tensioner uses a 6301 bearing.

The dealer here in the middle east wanted $320 for a new pulley. The bearing cost me a grand total of $3 and 20 minutes.

It all looks the same, but this is for a hj60 diesel belt tensioner:
NSK 524 6202DU2
outer diameter D : (mm) 35 mm
diameter d : (mm) 15 mm
thickness B : (mm) 11 mm

I'm in a pickle, and hoping you guys can help. I've tried Toyota, no luck, i've tried the local auto parts shops including napa, O'Riley, advanced, and auto zone. no luck. I found a guy on ebay who's got a lot of 10 bearings, all supposed 6301-du2 replacements from china. I obviously don't need 10, but i'm desperate. Does anyone know where i can get one bearing? obviously I'd like a Japanese, but i'm not picky as it's a daily driver. Otherwise i'm buying 10.

You should have a local bearing shop that specializes in bearings only. Here in Mansfield we have American Bearing Co.

Part number

Just replaced the whole assembly pulley, bearings and adjusting bolt. In stock at the local warehouse.
