So after I built my roof rack, it was time to fit the tent. Here are some pictures with the tent on the rig.

Then it was time to order an ARB 2000 awning. Made some custom mounting brackets from thick L shaped frame brackets I got at Home depot. This made the awning removable without any issues.

Here is everything all set up.

I needed to expand my in cab aux outlets to the rear so I went ahead and added another 6 port blue sea fuse panel. I ran some 8 ga wire from the junction block in the center console directly to the fuse panel. This would pave way to my rear USB 12v outlets and 12v sockets. I will also be running a pair of led spot lights on the top the roof rack for night camp setup.

I Had purchased a 60" high lift and didnt have a place to store it so I purchased the high lift 4xrac mounts and mounted it to the roof rack.

Turned out pretty cool..

So here is why I purchased this RTT. Here in florida its difficult to camp when its 85 degrees at night. So I puchased a small 2000w generator and a 5000 BTU window AC and this solves my heat issues at night. I will sleep like a baby with AC in the middle of the everglades or the keys... :flipoff2:

Back in March or so I did a GB for some 12v aux outlets, similar to the Blue sea kind but cheaper and great quality (end shameless plug) So I removed current blue sea outlets and replaced it with these, fit right in with no issues. Sorry for the quality of the cell phone pics. Used the rear USB outlet this weekend at GSMTR2014 and it charged up my ipad with no issues.

This past weekend I assisted for the first time GSMTR @ Windrock in Olver Springs, TN. It was an awesome time, this weekend was very cold but it was a blast!! Great mountain wheeling. A lot of awesome cruisers.

I got the GlobeTrotter award for driving the farthest to the event. 920 miles one way from Miami.

On the way back I picked up this next project. Its an old 1944 Bantam trailer. I plan on turning this into an offroad camping trailer. I want to take my RTT and bring it down to the trailer once its restored.

Frank, such a nice setup!

I wish there was more time to hang out and chat. I honestly don't know where the last week went.

I didn't even get to see those 12V outlets, but now that I do, I know what I want.

Yeah Carter
Really wasnt enough time to get to talk. But it was great meeting you and Luis. Thanks for taking me in. I am planning on doing another GB soon. I will let you know.

All you need is a 4x4Labs rear bumper and your set!

Yeah I am saving up for a rear bumper.. Dont know if its gonna be a Slee or another brand as of yet.. But what I really need is a v8 conversion. Averaged 11 mpg the whole trip. I was also pulling the trailer backdown but it wasnt heavy at all.

Loved your rig. great shots!

Thanks ukaviator!!! your rig is my dream rig with what you have under the hood!! Looked awesome!!

Nice LC! It is hard to keep that color clean, so if you like I could paint it khaki for you. You will never have to wash her. ;)
