Any updates? I see you've had record rainfall lately.

Sorry, been offline for a few weeks - yeah, we've had lots of rain, but not one complaint, our fire risk has been low to moderate as a result.

Also had a kid get married off a few weeks ago with lots of family time and then spent a week fishing with a buddy of mine from the south. Now buried in getting some site prep done for the garage build (32x40) - pour date is the second week of August and I've had to move sheds, build a new forge shed, move dumploads of crap I've accumulated (in only five years here). Poor pig has been sitting there with one leg in the air for two months. I did, however source a couple of full floater hubs so in theory i could have her back on the road with an hours work..

Congratulations on the wedding. Hopefully it was a son and not a daughter. I've married both off; sons are expensive but I would say about a tenth of the cost of a daughter.

It was a son, one of two - small outdoor wedding, nothing is cheap these days, but it wasn't too hard financially. The other one has a camp job, he spotted a couple of 40s in the bush... expect that will cost more in the end
