Thanks man!! How's the piggy coming along?
The pig has been on hiatus for a minute, I've been dealing with some personal stuff, but along the way I acquired a steering wheel and all new brake stuff. I am hoping to bleed the brakes and install the SW soon, it's just a matter of finding time. Maybe next weekend. I also don't have any resistance on my clutch no more...

I attempted recovering one with a kit and it didn’t come out great and I have a Supra style wheel to test but I’d rather have the stock wheel

I'd buy this in a heartbeat honestly had I not found mine. It's our exact same wheel and should fit perfectly.

Bought the Marlin short shifter kit last week and got it installed:

Loved the way it shifted but absolutely hated how much taller the shifter was

So I took it to a machine shop and got it cut back down to factory size and now it's perfect!

Have an update on the old 4Runner, about a month after the short shifter install the clutch went out. I had a shop put in a new clutch, flywheel, clutch pedal bracket, spring & pedal along with the master cylinder and slave cylinder. The clutch had never felt soo good. It also developed a little leak at the output shaft of the transfer case which I fixed recently.

Aside from those issues, it's been a great rig and I have taken it on multiple trips across AZ. Unfortunately it just felt a little too small for me & all my gear so I've decided that I need something bigger. Driving it again since buying it back made me realize that's why I sold it the first time.

I have now sold my 4Runner once again...however there is a huge silver lining. She will be going to a fellow 3rd gen enthusiast that hangs around theT4R.org forum and will be a first car for his son. He's going to keep my build thread over there going and I'll post those updates here as well.

In the meantime I've bought a 60 series (finally) so I'm off to start my next project. Build thread for the 60 below:
