Traded our donor 1974 FJ40 and other misc parts we no longer needed for a 1979 FJ40 2F engine, 4sp, 4sp transfer case, and misc parts we'd need to install the 2F in our FJ40. Highly recommend Kevin with "County Cruisers" out of Ridgeville, IN. He is an awesome guy and is great to do business with. His business is dedicated to parting out FJ40's and has almost any part you would need for them. Give him a call 1-765-857-2574.

Clutch less fan is typically what is done and what I did. Pretty sure you will need a different water pump, duel pulley and fan. When I looked for a duel pulley they were quite expensive so went with an aftermarket billet one from CVF Racing for about half the cost. Looks like your not running an oil cooler so the water pump you need will be slightly different than the one pictured below.

I also believe I remember a build or two with radiator relocated as you mentioned which would be nice in that it would intermittently reduce cabin noise.

Trucks looking good!

Thank you! I'll take a look at different water pump, pulley, and fan options as I need all the clearance I can get.

Right now I have about 1" of clearance between the dual pulley face and the front of the radiator.

I've order a later model radiator support so I will try a couple mock ups when it gets in.
