The Darth Vader light looks like faders helmet.

Post some pics of the doors the gurus will be able to confirm if original.

If I remember correctly there is a missing "v" in the vin that would indicate that that it is an FST
Thanks! I don't see that light sitting around but it might be buried in one of the buckets the PO gave us, I'll look more thoroughly. The VIN doesn't have a V in it. It is 10 digits long.

I hope you find it, they sell for silly money($100). On a non stock truck, you could probably fond a more function replacement aftermarket.

I also installed new front brake calipers, new front pads, new rear brake cylinders, new rear drums, and had the rear drums re-turned. I am now working on bending new brake lines and installing them. We decided to go with a Copper/Nickel brake line that is guarantee to never rust. I'll post picture of them when I finish them.

We got the tub back from the sand blaster. Overall the tub was in great shape. The PO had tried to repair the back corners by riveting sheet metal over the rest spots so we had to have those fixed correctly and fix the back corner of the glove box that had been eaten away by rust. We also had many of the random holes in the floor welded up and all the riot holes on the fenders welded as well.

That is quite a unique combo! Is that rear end off the Corvette or just the gears? A finned rear diff cover? What?

The rear end is factory the gears have just been changed to Corvette Posi-Track. It has an aluminum diff cover that PO had installed, we actually removed it tonight to clean up and re-seal it because it was leaking.

After welding the two rear corner pieces, glove box, and random holes we took it to Indy Line-X to have the inside tub and underside tub coated. They had sanded any surface rust that had appeared and applied an industrial 3-part epoxy primer over the whole tub. The primer was some very heavy stuff that is used mainly for outdoor industrial equipment. We had the Line-X color matched to the body color. We decided on a land rover color called Bonatti Grey Metallic.
