On these Terrain Tamer parabolic packs, they call the small thick leafs "shims"

From experience messing with them, to move one from the top of the pack to the bottom nets 1/2" down height in that scenario, and the opposite would be if you moved from the bottom to the top.

Move both and you get 1" either way.

The 60 series front springs came with the two shims on the top of the pack. The last set I had for a 60, the two shims were on the bottom.

Knowing this truck was similar to the last 60 I built I swapped the shims to the bottom when I added the 4* spacers.

These packs are not under pressure like a normal spring pack so doing the swap is super easy.

I'm not sure why some of these H55/Split combos come with the perfect speedometer calibration and some are 10 mph off but this one is dead nuts accurate.

Clutchee's flies are still in the house.

And yes, the exhaust sounds great on this thing.

I was blowing down I-55 today and got this text from my Redhead

One of these days I will have a 60
@wngrog —- it will be your fault.
Nice work yet again

Electrical ignition switch.

Only place available for the '86 is City Racer. It's a good quality aftermarket for the NLA 60100 (made in TW), if you want to retain the key in lock, buzzer.

I think it's the starter because it clicked every time

This thing rides and drives great. @dnp it will be here another week or so while the last parts trickle in. You should ride up and drive it with the new additions.

Thanks. I'm out until 11/2, but if it's still there, I'd like to.

FWIW, the driver's door had a much bigger dent in it (and on the body line) than the one in the passenger rear quarter. Guy said he could get it out, and I just figured it would be better than it was.......but he wasn't kidding. He absolutely got rid of it! Durr's Dents and Dings in Pearl if owner wants it gone.

Last few items off the list.

Straightened the steering wheel and pulled the drivers seat out so I can take it to my upholstery guy Monday.

It's funny the guy that always gives me s*** about my use of Fluid Film in a non-rust area provided me with the perfect candidate for my love for this stuff.

You can paint a frame that is this clean. No doubt. The thing I love about using fluid film is that there is no problem with overspray and use on rubber. It's fine and good for both.

A nice thin coat of this stuff will soak in to this porous/surface rust and it will end up turning the steel black. My fj45 had the same exact frame.
